Warranties & Repairs

At Ego Time Pieces, our commitment to exceptional service extends far beyond the moment you purchase your luxury watch. Every modern watch purchased from us is protected either by the original manufacturer’s warranty or by a 2-year limited warranty provided directly by Ego Time Pieces, starting from the date of purchase. Certain exclusions may apply. The purchase date is determined by the date shown on your invoice or any document accepted by Ego Time Pieces as proof of purchase.

If the remaining manufacturer warranty on a watch is less than two years from your purchase date, Ego Time Pieces will assume responsibility as the warranty provider for the remaining period—covering the gap between the end of the manufacturer’s warranty and the two-year mark.
For watches still under manufacturer warranty, Ego Time Pieces may submit the claim to the brand for evaluation. In these cases, all terms, conditions, and decisions fall under the manufacturer’s policies. Watches returned from the manufacturer after servicing will be covered under the manufacturer’s service warranty, which takes precedence over any Ego Time Pieces warranty coverage. If a component fails outside the manufacturer’s service warranty but within our two-year coverage window, Ego Time Pieces may choose to repair or replace the affected part.

VINTAGE WARRANTY

Ego Time Pieces stands behind every watch we offer; however, vintage watches are not covered under our warranty due to limited availability of replacement parts and the nature of older timepieces. Any watch 25 years or older is considered vintage and therefore excluded from warranty coverage.

REPAIRS

All repairs completed by Ego Time Pieces are covered by a one-year warranty, unless stated otherwise at the time of service. Warranty protection begins on the date listed on the repair invoice or any approved proof-of-service document.

WHAT'S NOT COVERED

Ego Time Piece's 2-year limited warranty does not cover damage caused by water or moisture, external wear and tear, or any external damage to the watch case, crystal/glass, bracelet/band, bezel, straps, screws, crown/stem, finishes, clasps/buckles, missing stones, or gems on the external portion of the watch, or any other physical damage. Using the watch under conditions that exceed the manufacturer's guidelines will also void the warranty. Most mechanical and quartz watches do not keep perfect, accurate time, the warranty does not cover watches that run slow or fast. Any third-party repair or attempted repairs will void the Ego Time Pieces 2-year limited warranty.

EGO TIME PIECES AUTHENTICITY GUARANTEE

Every watch we sell undergoes a comprehensive inspection and authentication process to ensure it is 100% genuine. Please keep the following in mind when enjoying your timepiece:

  • Vintage and pre-owned watches may not have the same water-resistance as when they were new.
  • Mechanical watches are more delicate than other types of watches, please check the specifications before engaging in any activity that could place excessive shock to the watch.
  • Most mechanical and quartz watches do not keep perfect, accurate time, our warranty does not cover watches that are running slow or fast.
  • Vintage watches may contain repaired and/or aftermarket parts unless otherwise stated.
